Addiction in the dark of ones mind..........
when we shovel substances into our gullet we take the risk of become the addict. This can happen with TV, with Radio, computers, food, hording, being alone, alcohol, drugs, and even abuse. How many of us have one or more from this list? think about it....
Can you go a month with no TV?
Can you go a year with no Computer?
Can you never hoard again?
Can you quit drinking or doing drug by a snap of your finger?
Really? Look at it?
This is a very dark place none or very few of us choose to explore. It is a maze of wonderment a labyrinth of scare and can scar and tare at us all. The addict is never alone because we are born into families and the addiction happens to us all.
My brother is an addict, I am an addict, my husband an addict. We feel each others pain and now we feel each others happy. I say turn on the lights people quit judging and help those who cant help themselves or don't know how to help themselves.
It is not by no means simple it is hard I wish you luck I wish my brother luck as i hold his hand and help him turn the light on, because i love him.

For the night is dark among the bright stars;

This month has been a learning experience for my family. David is ill with a bacteria infection in his joints. He has had 3 surgeries and a draining for his shoulder. All of that yuck from a cat scratch and dirt.
I will be 42 this month as a matter of fact it will be in 2 days and all i can think of is David how can we spend my birthday with David. I miss him He has been in the hospital for 10 days, my poor brother. (10 days sober and not by choice)
My Prince he is fighting galliently by my side fighting away the bad and bringing in the good. With his talent for faith and his need for the preistood keys at ready form we are truely blessed in this home.

Today being May, 7, 2012:
With a summer coming up, Mother's day and Fathers Day too.
It is time for being grateful for the Mom that I have. Lorraine Springer Christensen was the best mom ever she taught me well and Loved me well too. She showed me and my brother to, to love and appreciate the small because when the small things continue you have a whole lot of good within and without you. Everywhere I go I know my mom is watching us from up above loving us and looking upon our lives and intervening where she can.
Happy Mother's Day Lorraine (mommy) I am proud to be your daughter.
